    Dear Dr Irina,

I could not complete my previous query
I have just come to know about this cosmodic devise and I am of course curious to know about it in details…it’s efficacy, side effects, approval and accreditation of the technology… to what extent can it really eradicate the disease in chronic cases and a very tentative time scale for recovery of above mentioned disease

Hi…I wanted to know how do you recognise if the chronic disease is in the relapse or dormant phase ?
Also wanted to know if it works with serious illnesses of the brain/cerebral palsy movement disorder in a 2 year old child…

    • Dear Punam,

All chronic diseases tend to have interchangeable phases: after a relatively quiet time (when symptoms are just slightly noticeable) there will be a period of exacerbation of symptoms resembling an acute disease – and then everything quiets down again. We call those periods of exacerbation “relapses”. It is not something new; it is the same symptoms of the chronic disease, but substantially intensified.

As per the efficacy of SCENAR and COSMODIC for CP, it is difficult to predict. We had many successes, as well as some failures. Everything depends on particularities of a situation: the type and severity of a disorder, the age of a child (the younger the better), the overall state of health etc. We have seen pretty amazing improvements with small children, whose brain is still developing and whose regenerative abilities are strong.

You have to remember though that at this stage the technology is still very new, it is still in a research phase. We have only a few cases when it was used for CP and it would be too early to speak of a statistical validity. It also would be irresponsible to give any guarantees (if there CAN be any guarantees in health and medicine). On the other hand, the technology cannot do any harm – and there is always a chance. It will take time, because nervous structures regenerate very slowly, but there is a chance.

    • Dear Mr. Abdi,

As I mentioned in my article, chronic problems (including chronic kidney problems) require a COURSE of treatments. A single 20 min. treatment is not enough. Just follow the recommendations in the article – and see what happens in 6-8 weeks.
